June 29, 2007I am enjoying a rest time in Hawaii, with a lot of time with Maile. She was baptized last Sunday, and we have been shopping, beaching, eating, and all kinds of other things together. She is a pleasant child and a joy!
Also having dental appointments, shopping with host Bud for new dishwasher (old one stopped working - not the two-legged kind many of my friends in Asia, but the electric ones in America), some golf, visiting friends and stocking up on stuff to take back to Surabaya. I leave Tuesday, which is at once all too soon, and not soon enough. I always hate to leave where I am but also am eager to return to where I am going.
