WALKING WITH JESUS - IS NEVER DULL

It has been hectic, a whirlwind of activity and blessing!

I arrived in Jakarta Thursday afternoon, got settled into my accommodations, and went directly to meet with the first graduates of FOR LOVERS ONLY. Their testimonies touched my heart, they are eager to pass on the blessing so we began to plan for the next FLO Retreat - maybe September, if the venue is available. Some testimonies will be posted on Shepherds and Sheep.

Friday morning I met with Liana, my overall coordinator in Jakarta to discuss and evaluate. We are planning an outreach into Central Java with Jessica (see J in Shepherds and Sheep) in early June. Then she took me to the airport for my trip to Surabaya.

In Surabaya I was greeted by my still-unfinished, dust-filled apartment where everything is pushed into either the guest room or my room because the ceiling in the living area is being re-done. It was supposed to be finished, but lots of last-minute touch-up. While I am away, I will have a guest stay so I am moving all the stuff back into the living area so they can get to the guest bed! It will all have to be moved back to finish the living area work, after I get back from the Philippines.

Friday evening I was just able to get settled in, moving things around so I can function. Saturday was for clean-up of the apartment and unfinished business, including last-minute planning for the Youth Camp coming up next week in the Philippines. Surprises and challenges abound!

Saturday evening I was blessed to minister to youth at a church here. Nearly all came forward for prayer, and most were touched. It took an hour to pray for them!

Sunday I was busy all day, from 7AM to 8PM.

First I preached, then went to another church where I had been scheduled but they had a conflict and also had another preacher from Malaysia. I was more than content to surrender. Then my Monday evening group picked me up to bring me to an orphanage. This was all I knew.
Three of them recently had birthdays, and they decided to celebrate by visiting this orphanage. I will tell of the visit and have photos in another report. To my surprise we went to Regina’s home where we all gathered together, and a truck pulled up, they started loading the truck. They had prepared goodie packages, sacks of rice, boxes of other food and drink. This was their birthday celebration: to bless the kids (about 13 of them) in this small orphanage located in the middle of swamps, a very poor area!
Monday was also very full, with meetings with teachers at the kinder school, with another of my disciples from Mojoarum group, with Monday evening with the group at Regina’s home, a continuation of thanksgiving celebration. I got home after 10PM.

Today, up at 4:30 to wash bedding of guest room and dig down to find the bed. Now time to get ready to go to school at 6:50 for what promises to be a very full day, since I have been gone for nearly a month!
