By the Way, don't miss my links to Dream Maker, Shepherds and Sheep, and Unexpected Treasures. Each has a different topic for discussion.
There were two main reasons for resisting opening either a web site or blog site:
1. I already spend more time on the computer than I want, a site will just add more.
2. It seems to include a commitment to add new postings frequently, a commitment I am not eager to make.
My friends countered that actually, with a blog site, time and effort on email should be reduced as friends use the blog site to communicate, so time on computer won't be that much more. We will see about that!
They also said that there is no such commitment to visit and post to the blog site daily or even weekly. So be advised that I am under the impression that your comments do not need to be addressed immediately, or even at all. I do encourage your comments, and even for you to respond to each others' comments. Then as you respond to each other, I can learn more and you all won't feel neglected if I don't respond!! You can see, that although my friends have assured me otherwise, I still have this idea that a comment not responded to equals a disappointed person.
