Walking With Jesus - Welcome

Welcome to Hugh Kaiser's brand new blog site. Friends finally convinced me to go wireless on the 'net. I am definitely 'old school' and have resisted but now find myself worn down by friends in Surabaya, Indonesia, and now Bali. It is a barrage I cannot resist.

I am basically a itinerant preacher/teacher, retired engineer/management consultant, with headquarters in Surabaya, Indonesia, where I have an apartment and stay about 8 months out of the year, when not travelling.

Bishop Weeks said...: -Hugh, you are an inspiration. I praise God for bringing you into my life in 1984 when we met at St Mary's in Honolulu. I did not think you were serious about going on a mission trip, but you went with me to the Philippines in 1985 and you have been serving the Lord and his people in missions ever since. Bless you!

AMBON FLO AUGUST

Ambon: City (and Island) in Maluku, Indonesia. Often used erroneously for the entire area of central Maluku. Maluku were actually the Spice Islands during the Dutch Colony era. Almost entirely Christian until the Transmigration programs of the ‘70's and ‘80's when huge numbers of muslims were relocated, ostensibly to take them out of overcrowded city areas and give them land, but many believe, and the effect was, that it diluted Christian populations. Today about 50% of each. Beautiful place of abundance.

Radical Muslim: All the world becomes Muslim
Christian: All the world becomes Christian
STRATEGY:
Muslim: Hate all non-Muslim to death
Christian: Love all non-Christian to life
TATICS:
Muslim: Offer self to die in killing non-Muslims
Christian: Offer self to die to give life to non-Christians
Muslim: Kill self in process of killing others
Christian: Die to self in serving others
RADICAL CHRISTIAN: ONE WHO REALLY BELIEVES AND FOLLOWS THE TEACHING OF JESUS (Turn the other cheek, bless your enemies, give out of your need, not your abundance, don't worry about anything, etc)
